This famous northern European small town company was founded in 1865, originally a manufacturer of Pulp and paper. With the automation and introduction of energy intensive production techniques this company even started its own power plants. This company diversified into a regional conglomerate and ventured into rubber works, integrated cable operations, electronics tires and made its first public offering in
1966. It also expanded into several divisions concentrating on developing Information systems, PCs, automatic banking systems, modems, digital communications systems and mobile phones. Till date this company has maintained a strong foothold in its sector and is a crucial player at a pivotal time for the industry.
